This awesome tool is built to the same standard of high quality as the original Hoedag.

6'' wide flat blade, heat treated steel. 54''Ash wood handle. The Hoedag hoe is used to work the very top of the soil generally to remove small weeds. The blade should go just under the soil and be pulled in a manor such as to uproot small weeds. Hoes are much less effective on larger more established weeds. For the more larger established weeds the Hoedag original or Hoedag culti-hoe may be needed. This hoe is most effective when soil is dry this creates a dust mulch which inhibits the germination of new weeds. The Hoedag hoe is useful in preparing gardens and flower beds also great for digging narrow furrows. Great for shaping the soil including soil around the base of plants( hilling ). Works great for digging shallow trenches when planting seeds and bulbs.
